Responsibilities

  • Utilize the ACE methodology to teach students how to apply the 4 pillars of ACE so that they learn how to: Self-Direct; Self-Manage; Self-Advocate; and Self-Correct.
  • Meet standards for frequency of coaching contact with ACE students.
  • Communicate with ACE staff and tutors, and client staff to ensure alignment of coaching support with other student resources.
  • Prepare and submit coaching reports and invoices promptly.
  • Use the 4 pillars of ACE to solve problems and capitalize on opportunities to support the ACE organization and your professional development.
  • Accurately and consistently use the ACE Methodology of Coaching.
  • Traveling one to two times per year is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • 5 years of work experience in the fields of education (preferably higher education), employee relations, client services, counseling, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated belief in the capacity of all young people to succeed through effort.
  • Knowledge of higher education is a plus.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated capacity to establish rapport and build trust with youth and adults.
  • Demonstrated capacity for effective listening to gain an understanding of the meaning of what is being said from the student’s or client’s point of view.
  • Demonstrated capacity to work with diverse population groups.
  • Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
  • Basic technology skills including Microsoft software (i.e., Outlook, Excel, and Word) and using Customer Relationship Management software (CRM).

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $40.00 per hour
